Call Out for Associated Events

We are seeking applications from organisations and individuals interested in hosting their own event as part of the Made in Darndale 2023 associated events programme. Made in Darndale 2023 will take place from Friday, 26 May – Sunday, 28 May. The closing date for applications is Wednesday, 12 April at 5pm.

Made in Darndale is the flagship event in Creative Places Darndale’s annual programme. It is the culmination of the previous six months work in community engagement, workshops and training. It is a mesmerising showcase of the talents, skills, hard work and determination of hundreds of members of the Darndale community. Throughout the festival, the streets, squares, and parks of Darndale come to life in a dynamic, bright, and joyous cross-community celebration.

Made in Darndale is now looking for individuals and organisations to feature in their associated events programme, as the festival looks towards building and diversifying its programming content for many years to come. Join us for the biggest celebration the village has ever seen!

Benefits of participating in Made in Darndale 2023 include:

Listing of your event in the Made in Darndale festival programme, both print and online

Listing including link to your website from the Creative Places Darndale website

Copies of the festival programme and posters for distribution through your organisation

Creative Places Darndale and Made in Darndale 2023 logo to use on your marketing materials

Involvement in a festival with national and local level communications campaign (e.g. Front Page of Irish Times 2022)
