Culture Night in Darndale

We are thrilled and honoured to welcome the Lord Major of Dublin, Alison Gilliland to launch the ‘Creative Places Darndale’ initiative at Darndale Belcamp Village Centre on Culture Night, 17th Sept 2021.

“I am absolutely delighted to be here with you tonight on Culture Night to launch Creative Places in Darndale” said the Lord Mayor. “The main aim of the initiative is to make meaningful connections with the community and through engagement and consultation, create a strategy that makes arts and culture a regular part of living in Darndale.”

For this momentous  occasion we present a ‘Made in Darndale’ Cabaret extravaganza featuring Darndale’s local talent Mark Flynn, Richie, the Cowboy Smith, John Connors, and special guest, tenor John Scott.

This event is preceded by spectacular performances from “Opera in the Open” , “Jitterbug Jackson” and his circus show and a Stilt Walkers Parade featuring students from the stilt walking workshops.

It’s all happening in Darndale!
