Sensory Truck

We are delighted to welcome Dublin City Council’s Sensory Trailer as part of the Made in Darndale Festival this Saturday.

The trailer, which was purpose built for individuals with Sensory Processing Differences, is an allocated ‘Quiet Space’, which can make attendees experience within the festival environment a more positive one, knowing they can have use of a sensory-friendly place within the setting. A ‘Quiet Space’ is a calm, relaxing environment within which attendees and their families can access when their surroundings become overstimulating.

Access to the Sensory Trailer is provided on a first-come-first-served basis. We will have a member of staff managing the trailer on the day, who you can leave your name with to join the queue.
